Women's Basketball Earns Hard-Fought 69-67 Win At Hillsdale

  • Northwood scored on the opening shot of the game and led throughout the rest of the opening half.
  • The Timberwolves maintained at least a six-point lead over the final 5:31 of the first quarter.
  • NU's lead grew to as many as 11 in the first before holding a 23-16 lead after one.
  • Northwood got their lead to 12 early in the second quarter and were still on top 34-25 with less than two minutes remaining in the half.
  • Hillsdale finished the half strong, scoring the final six points to make the score 34-31 at the break.
  • The Chargers kept the momentum going into the third quarter, taking their first lead of the day at 36-34.
  • HC held the lead the majority of the third quarter, going up by as many as six before holding a 51-48 lead heading to the fourth.

  • Northwood also extends school record for longest winning streak with their 13th straight win today. The 1990-91 team won 10 consecutive games.
  • NU's 19 conference wins this season are the most in a season in program history. The 2023-24 team finished the year with 16 for the previous record.
