Women's Golf Finishes Sixth At Bellarmine Invitational
The Northwood University women's golf team placed sixth at the Bellarmine Invitational Monday afternoon (March 24).
The one-day event was held at the Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
Northwood carded a team score of 330 in the event. Indianapolis was the overall winner at 315, followed by Ferris State (317) in second place. Grand Valley State and Southern Indiana each shot 318 to tie for third overall.
Leading the way for Northwood was redshirt freshman Grace Cannon (Liverpool, England), who carded a 78. That score was good for a tie for sixth place overall. Marlies Klekner-Alt (Ottawa, Canada/Newman U.) tied for 17th with an 81. A total of 48 players took part in the event.
Northwood will compete at the Ohio Dominican Invite March 29-30.
