Women's Golf Places Two On All-GLIAC Teams

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University women's golf team placed a pair players on the All Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) team, the league announced Wednesday (April 28).

Junior Sydni Harding claimed First Team honors, while sophomore Ines Dorado was placed on the  Second Team

Harding earned All-GLIAC for the third straight year after being named Honorable Mention in 2019 and Second Team in 2020. She had turned in her best season as a Timberwolf. Her scoring average this season is 75.9, which is the lowest in school history. She finished in the top third of all five of the events this season, including winning the NC4K Classic. For the season, Harding ended the year with an individual winning percentage of .877 (348-49). She recently earned spot as an individual for the NCAA East Regional Championship.

Dorado earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors for the third straight season. Her scoring average was 77.8 over the course of 12 rounds, which places her second in school history for a season behind Harding. She finished in the top-20 in five of the six event she played in and had an individual win percentage of .791 (314-83).

Northwood tied for third as a team at the GLIAC Championships.
