Ines Dorado Earns Trip To NCAA East Regional Championship
NCAA DIVISION II REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS
MIDLAND, MICH. – Senior Ines Dorado from the Northwood University women's golf team has earned a position as an individual at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship.
The East Regional will feature the top 15 teams from across six conference. Dorado is one of six individuals from non-qualifying teams to earn invitations to the event.
One of the top players in school history, Dorado holds the school record for scoring average in a career (77.9). She currently has the lowest single-season scoring average in school history this year (76.9). Dorado also set a school-record with a 36-hole total of 144 at the Trevecca Music City Invite October 18-19, 2022. Dorado has earned All-Conference honors four times in her career and became the third player in school history to compete at the NCAA Championships in 2022. She tied for 62nd overall at the event a year ago.
The Championship will be held May 8-10 at the Panther Creek Golf Club in Springfield, Illinois.
