RECAP: Northwood women's golf opened its season with a ninth place finish at the ODU Champions of Women's Golf Saturday-Sunday (September 13-14).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood started their season by shooting rounds of 328 and 321 to finish at 649 overall, good for ninth place overall.
• Tiffin was the overall winner at 608 (303-305), followed by Ashland at 61 (309-302).
• A total of 15 teams took part in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Nemo Cheewasupakorn: 79-78=157 – tied for 19th overall
• Paulina Marquez: 78-82=160 – tied for 25th
• Ava Weeks: 86-78=164 – tied for 37th
• A total of 96 players competed in the tournament.
