Women's Golf Places Third At Davenport Invitational

RECAP: Northwood women's golf finished off the fall portion of their schedule with a third-place finish at the DU Panther Invitational Saturday and Sunday (October 11-12).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood got off to a strong start in the tournament, holding the tournament lead after one round with a scroe of 301.
• NU shot a 314 in round two, which placed the Timberwolves third overall with a total of 615.
• Lewis took home the team title at 602 (306-296), followed Saginaw Valley at 611 (305-306).
• A total of 12 teams took part in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Nemo Cheewasupakorn: 73-79=152 – tied for seventh overall
• Ava Weeks: 75-79=154 – tied for 13th
• Paulina Marquez: 76-78=155 – tied for 13th
• Sydney Dausman: 77-78=155 – tied for 17th
• A total of 72 players competed in the tournament.
