Women's Golf Opens Season At The Grand Canyon Women's Invitational

RECAP: Northwood women's golf opened their fall season with a fifth place finish at the Grand Canyon Women's Invitational Tuesday-Wednesday (February 24-25).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 328, 312 and 325, which was good for 965 overall.
• Host Grand Canyon was the overall winner at 861 (293-278-290), followed by Northern Illinois at 891 (298-298-295).
• A total of five teams took part in the event – the other four teams competing in the event were Division I program.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Sydney Dausman: 81-78-78=237 – tied for 23rd overall
• Paulina Marquez: 84-78-79=241 – tied for 26th
• Nemo Cheewasupakorn: 82-78-81=241 – tied for 26th
• A total of 33 players competed in the tournament.

UP NEXT

• Northwood will compete at the Findlay Spring Invitational March 16-17 in Richmond, Kentucky.
