Women's Golf Finishes Third At G-MAC Championship
OVERVIEW – G-MAC CHAMPIONSHIP
LOCATION: Belterra GC Golf Club – Florence, Ind. (Par 72 – 5,756 yards)
RECAP: Northwood women's golf placed third at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC Championship Thursday-Friday (April 16-17).
INSIDE THE EVENT
- Northwood carded team scores of 313-320-295 to finish at 928.
- No. 4 Findlay placed first in stroke play (291-292-291=874), followed by Ashland (306-303-299=908). Those two teams advanced to the medal match play portion of the event to determine the conference champion.
- A total of 11 teams took part in the event.
TOP NU PERFORMERS
- Nemo Cheewasupakorn: 80-76-71=224 – seventh place overall
- Paulina Marquez: 76-79-71=227 – 10th place
- Sydney Dausman: 79-83-74=236 – tied for 17th
- A total of 61 players competed in the tournament.
NORTHWOOD NOTES
- NU's final total of 928 is a program record for a 54 hole tournament. The old record of 934 was set in the fall at the Warrior Invite.
- Northwood's final round 295 is one off the school record for 18 holes, which was set last week at the TU/WU Spring Christmas Classic.

- Northwood will await to see if they have qualified for the NCAA Super Regional May 4-6.
