Boyd and Everett Sweep GMAC Women's Soccer Player Of The Week Honors

GMAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Freshman forward Carly Boyd (Oxford, Mich.) and senior goalkeeper Andrea Everett (Hartland, Mich.) have been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) Women's Soccer Players of the Week. 

Boyd was named offensive player of the week after scoring two goals including a game-winning goal against Cedarville on Wednesday (September 14) and then adding three assists versus Ohio Dominican on Saturday (September 17). She is currently third in the GMAC in points per game this year at 1.40.

Everett received defensive player of the week honors via her nine total saves and only allowing two goals over the two games. Andrea is currently fourth in the GMAC in save percentage at .806.

The Timberwolves went 2-0 on the week outscoring the Yellow Jackets and Panthers by a combined 7-2. They currently sit in third in the GMAC standings, two conference points behind Cedarville and Ashland. 

Northwood is set to visit the Oilers of Findlay Thursday (September 22) as the first kick is scheduled for 1 PM at DeHaven Field.
