Honeycutt Tabs G-MAC Offensive Athlete Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Brooke Honeycutt of the Northwood women's soccer team earned Offensive Athlete of the Week from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this week, Monday (October 14). It's her first career Athlete of the Week honor and the third honor for a women's soccer player this season.

Honeycutt scored twice this week as the Timberwolves went 1-0-1 with a 4-1 win over Thomas More (October 10) and a 1-1 draw with Ohio Dominican (October 12). She scored in each match while becoming the 12th player in program history to record 50 career points (20 goals and 11 assists). Her four goals and 11 points are second on the team this season.

Women's soccer is currently 6-0-5 overall and 4-0-3 in the G-MAC. They are back at Dean Field for a matchup with Ursuline on Thursday (October 17). The match is set for a Noon first kick.
