Ticket Punched! - Women's Soccer Punches Their Ticket To The 2025 NCAA Tournament

2025 NCAA DII WOMEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT FIELD

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University women's soccer team is headed back to the national stage, earning a spot in the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Tournament. This marks the second NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, and the second in the last three seasons (2023).

Northwood was selected as the No. 5 seed in the Midwest Regional and will face No. 4 seed Maryville (Mo.) on Thursday (November 20) at Noon at the GVSU Soccer Field on the campus of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.

The Midwest Regional will be hosted at two sites: top-seeded Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich., and No. 2 seed McKendree in Lebanon, Ill.. A total of 56 teams qualified for this year's NCAA Division II Tournament, with the top eight teams from each region advancing to the national field. First and second-round matches will be held November 21–23 at 16 campus locations nationwide.

Northwood punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament following an impressive 11-2-6 overall record, including a 7-2-5 mark in G-MAC play and a semifinal appearance in the G-MAC Tournament.
