Women's Tennis Defeats SVSU 8-1

The Northwood women's tennis team remained unbeaten on the season with an 8-1 win over Saginaw Valley State Wednesday afternoon (September 26)

The Timberwolves are now 8-0 overall and in the GLIAC. SVSU falls to 5-2 overall and in the GLIAC.

Doubles again proved to be a strength for the Timberwolves, as NU came out and won all three matches. The Timberwolves are now 23-1 overall on the season in doubles in dual matches.

Northwood went on to post five victories in singles, all of which came in straight sets. Northwood's record in singles so far in dual matches improves to 42-6 this season.

The Timberwolves will host Grand Valley State October 6th for an 11 a.m. match.
