Women's Tennis Advances To GLIAC Tournament Semifinals
The Northwood University women's tennis team advanced to the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals with a 5-0 win over Ohio Dominican Friday night (October 26).
The event is being held at the Midland Community Tennis Center.
Northwood is now 15-0 overall. ODU falls to 7-8 overall with the loss.
NU came out strong in doubles, taking all three matches to take control early on. Northwood then won at one and three singles to finish the match. Susana Alcaraz and Ayana Kobayashi both went 2-0 on the day for the Timberwolves.
Northwood will play the winner of the Ferris State/Ashland match in the semifinals Saturday.
