Women's Tennis Earns 8-1 Win At Findlay

FINDLAY, OHIO – The Northwood University women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with an 8-1 victory at Findlay Sunday afternoon (September 7).

Northwood also stands at 2-0 in the GLIAC. Findlay falls to 1-1 with the loss.

The Timberwolves won two of the three doubles matches to take the lead heading into singles. Anastasiia Kazub and Oleisa Riabchuk earned an 8-5 win at the No. 2 position, while Anna Aniskina and Margarita Asatryan claimed an 8-1 win in the third slot.

It was all Northwood in singles, as the Timberwolves won all six matches to finish off the victory.

Northwood will host Ferris State September 17. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
