Women's Tennis Sweeps Lake Superior State 9-0
SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH. – The Northwood University women's tennis team remained unbeaten on the season with a 9-0 win over Lake Superior State Sunday (September 21).
Northwood is now 5-0 overall and in the GLIAC. Lake Superior State falls to 1-6 overall, 1-4 in the GLIAC.
The Timberwolves got off to a strong start in doubles, winning all three matches. NU dropped a total of just six games in the three contests.
Northwood continued to perform well in singles, winning all six matches. The Timberwolves earned all the wins in straight sets.
Northwood will compete in the Wilson/ITA Regional Friday-Sunday (Sept. 26-28).
