Volleyball Announces Signing of Marissa Pomaville
The Northwood University volleyball team has announced the signing of Marissa Pomaville (Livonia, Mich./Churchill) to the 2013 recruiting class.
Pomaville, a 6-2 Middle Blocker, will come to NU from perennial high school volleyball power Livonia Churchill, and from the Premier Volleyball Club out of Toledo, Ohio.
"Marissa is a big physical middle who will take away a lot of the net as a blocker," said Head Coach Tim Koth. "We expect her to be a force and to help replace Tatjana Rajic, who will be graduating this year."
"She is also a very nice young woman who will jump right in, be a great teammate, and will compete to play in the middle her first year," said Koth
Northwood won the GLIAC Championship and GLIAC Tournament title in 2012. They finished the season 26-7 overall, 17-1 in the GLIAC.
