Sydney Hasenfratz Earns Third G-MAC Offensive Athlete of the Week Honor of the Season

MIDLAND, MICH. – Sydney Hasenfratz, a sophomore on the Northwood University volleyball team, has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) North Division Offensive Athlete of the Week.

This already marks the third time this season Hasenfratz (September 5, September 18) and the fourth time in two years has earned the honor.

Hasenfratz averaged 4.07 kills while totaling 11 blocks and 11 digs while leading Northwood to a 3-1 week. She had at least 10 kills in all four matches, extending her streak of having at least 10 kills to 17 to start the season. Hasenfratz leads the G-MAC in hitting percentage and kills per set while also ranking seventh in blocks.

Northwood hosts Hillsdale Friday (October 6). First serve is set for 7 p.m.
