Volleyball Places Four On the CSC Academic All-District Team

CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAMS

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University volleyball team had four student-athletes earn Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators.

Seniors Macy Kellstrom, Kiana Martens and Olivia Ott are joined by junior Renee Brines on the team.

Student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve with at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and have completed one full calendar year at their respective institution.

All four Northwood honorees played in all 29 matches this season. They led Northwood to its best season in over a decade, finishing with a 21-8 overall record while going 12-3 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Timberwolves placed second overall in the G-MAC standings, the best conference ranking for the program since 2012.
