INSIDE THE MATCH
- The opening set was level at 11-11 when Ohio Dominican took control. The Panthers put up 11 of the next 12 points to take a 22-12 lead. ODU went on to take the set 25-16 for a 1-0 lead.
- Ohio Dominican started the second set fast, scoring six of the first seven points. After trailing by as many as six, Northwood chipped away at the lead to get within three at 13-10. NU got no closer than three the rest of the way, however, as the Panthers went on to take the second set 25-17 for 2-0 lead.
- ODU started the third set with nine of the first 11 points to force a Northwood timeout. The Timberwolves did not go away, cutting the lead down to four at 17-13. NU was unable to get any closer than that, as the Panthers went on to take the third 25-18 to finish the sweep.
