RECAP: Northwood Volleyball earns a 3-0 road sweep at Ursuline Friday night (October 31).

INSIDE THE MATCH

• Ursuline came out strong to open the match, holding leads of 5-0, 6-1 and 8-2. The Arrows led 14-9 when Northwood started its comeback. NU scored nine of the next 12 points to take its first lead of the set at 18-17. With the score tied 22-22, Northwood scored the final three points to take the opener 25-22 for a 1-0 lead.
• Northwood started the second set fast, scoring six of the first seven points for an early lead. Ursuline responded with seven of the next eight points to tie the score at 8-8.  The Timberwolves came right back, scoring 11 of the next 14 points to open up a 19-11 lead. NU maintained control the rest of the set, winning 25-18 for a 2-0 lead.
• The Timberwolves scored the first three points of the third and held the lead the rest of the way. Northwood pushed their advantage to 8-3. Ursuline got no closer than four over the remainder of the set, while NU led by as many as 12. Northwood closed out the match with a 25-14 third-set win.
