GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Northwood put the first run of the game on the board in the top of the first on a Caden Duryea sacrifice fly to put the Timberwolves on top 1-0.
• Assumption responded with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning to tie the game.
• Josh Getz put the Timberwolves on top in the third with an RBI single.
• The biggest hit of the contest came from Alex Jarboe. His three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth pushed the Northwood lead to 5-1.
• Later in the fourth, Ben Narr came home on a double steal to give NU a 6-1 advantage.
• Duryea had his second sac fly of the game in the top of the fifth to make the score 7-1.
• The Greyhounds plated single runs in the fifth and the sixth to get within four at 7-3.
• Northwood broke the game open with a big ninth inning, starting with a bases loaded walk for Drew Charters.
• Myles Beale earned an RBI on an error, which was followed by a Duryea RBI single.
• Narr brought home a pair on a single to round out the six-run ninth to make the final score 13-3.
