GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• The key part of the game came right away, as Northwood broke things open in the bottom of the first inning. Drew Charters put the Timberwolves on the board first with two runs single.
• Alex Jarboe followed with a two-run double to make the score 4-0.
• Ben Narr added another run on a sacrifice fly.
• Caden Duryea capped the big inning with a three-run double to finish off an eight run first inning.
• Northwood took advantage of an error in the fourth by SVSU to make the score 9-0.
• SVSU got on the board with two runs in the top of the fifth.
• NU responded in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single by Myles Beale that put NU on top 10-2.
• Drew Charters created a run on his own in the bottom of the eighth. After drawing a walk, he stole second. Charters then advanced to third on an infield popout where SVSU left third base unattended. He then came home on a wild pitch to make the score 11-2.
• The Cardinals plated three in the ninth before the Timberwolves closed out their 17th straight victory.
