Baseball Loses At Grand Valley State 9-1

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Grand Valley State plated a pair of run in the bottom of the first to take the early lead.
- In the bottom of the third inning, the first two Laker batters were retired before a rally. GVSU scored four runs with two outs to extend the lead to 6-0.
- Northwood got on the board in the top of the fourth on an RBI double by Alex Jarboe.
- The Timberwolves had great chances to get back into the game in the sixth and seventh innings, loading the bases with no outs in the sixth and loading the bases with one out in the seventh. But NU was unable to score in either inning, keeping the deficit at 6-1.
- The Lakers scored one in the seventh and two in the eighth to close out the victory.
