GAME STORY
- Northwood scored 15 seconds into the game for a 2-0 lead, but that proved to be the lone lead of the contest for the Timberwolves.
- Lake Superior State scored eight straight points to go up by six at the 14:53 mark.
- The Lakers continued to build their lead throughout the remainder of the first half, going up by as many as 19 before holding a 50-33 edge at the break.
