GAME STORY
- Wayne State held the early advantage in the game, going up 13-6 in the opening 3:31 of the contest.
- The Timberwolves fought back to take the lead at 22-21 with 9:47 to go in the first half.
- The remainder of the first half was close – the largest lead the remainder of the half was five for either side.
- WSU held a 39-36 edge at the break.
- The Warriors led 43-41 four minutes into the second half when Wayne State went on a run, scoring 10 straight points to go up 53-51 with 12:25 remaining in the game.
- Northwood's biggest deficit came around the eight-minute mark, trailing 62-48.
