Men's Lacrosse Earns 15-5 Win Over Lake Erie Under The Lights

RECAP: Northwood men's lacrosse used faceoff control to pull away from Lake Erie Wednesday night (April 1), earning a 15-5 victory at Dean Field to remain unbeaten in conference play.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Lake Erie struck first, but Northwood responded quickly behind Payton Allaire and two first-quarter goals from Andrew Rogers. Rogers added a late goal in the final minute of the quarter to give the Timberwolves a 3-2 lead heading into the second.
- Northwood began to separate in the second quarter, scoring three unanswered goals from Drew Lockwood, who netted two in the frame, and Dylan Ayotte. The Timberwolves carried a 6-3 advantage into halftime while controlling possession behind dominant faceoff work from Andrew Jones and Nik Lemons.
- The Timberwolves broke the game open in the third quarter with a 5-2 run. Ryder Mulvey led the charge with two goals and an assist in the period, while Payton Allaire added another tally. Mulvey and MacKennan Tognetti also scored late in the quarter, extending the lead to 11-5.
- Northwood's defense shut the door in the fourth quarter, holding Lake Erie scoreless over the final 15 minutes. Lockwood opened the period with a man-up goal, while Mulvey and Rogers each added goals down the stretch to secure the 15-5 victory.
