Men's Tennis Team, Sergio Lopez Guillen Earn National Rankings From The ITA
ITA DII MEN'S SINGLES RANKINGS
MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's tennis team earned a pair of national rankings in the initial Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II poll.
As a team, Northwood stands at No. 45. In addition, sophomore Sergio Lopez Guillen stands 47th in the national singles rankings.
Northwood is currently 5-1 on the season. The Timberwolves' only loss came to Grand Valley State, who were ranked No. 13 nationally at the time of the match.
Guillen, the 2025 ITA Midwest Freshman of the Year, is currently 6-0 on the season. All six of his matches have taken place at the No. 1 singles position. Five of Guillen's six wins have been in straight sets.
Northwood travels to Palm Beach Atlantic Monday (March 9). First serve is set for 12:30 p.m.
