Sergio Lopez Guillen Earns Second G-MAC Athlete of The Week Honor Of The Season

MIDLAND, MICH. – Sergio Lopez Guillen, a sophomore from the Northwood University women's tennis team, has been announced as the Great Midwest Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

The league made the announcement Monday (March 23). This marks the second time this season that Guillen has earned the award.

Guillen led Northwood to a 6-1 win over Hillsdale to open G-MAC play, going 2-0 on the day. He picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 1 singles position and a 6-4 win with partner Anderson Duggan at the No. 2 doubles position. The Timberwolves are now 9-1 on the season.

Northwood, which is currently ranked No. 46 in the latest Division II poll, will host Tiffin in an important G-MAC match Friday (March 27). First serve is set for Noon
