INSIDE THE MATCH

  • Northwood, the No. 6 seed in the Midwest Region, and Wayne State, the No. 3 seed in the region, each won a double match by the score of 6-4. That meant the doubles point came down to the No. 3 match, which Northwood took home a 7-6 victory to earn NU a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
