Savannah Matuszewski Picks Up Second G-MAC Athlete Of The Week Honor

MIDLAND, MICH. – Savannah Matuszewski, a senior from the Northwood University women's tennis team, has been announced as the Great Midwest Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

The league made the announcement Monday (March 23). It is the second time this season she as earned the honor

Matuszewski earned two wins for Northwood in a 5-2 win over Hillsdale to open conference play. He earned a three-set victory at the No. 1 singles position. Matuszewski also took home a win at No. 1 doubles with partner Giada Ciampa. Northwood is now 8-3 overall for the season.

Northwood will host Tiffin in a key G-MAC match Friday (March 27). First serve is set for Noon.
