Danijela Danilovic Earns Second G-MAC Women's Athlete Of The Week Of The Season
MIDLAND, MICH. – Danijela Danilovic , a senior from the Northwood University women's tennis team, has been announced as the Great Midwest Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
The league made the announcement Monday (March 23). It is the second time this season she has earned the honor and the fourth time this spring that Northwood has earned the G-MAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, as Savannah Matuszewski has also earned the honor twice.
Danilovic went 4-0 for Northwood in road wins over Cedarville and Ashland. She went 2-0 at No. 2 singles, dropping one set in the two matches. Danilovic teamed with Savannah Matuszewski to go 2-0 in doubles at the top position, losing just four games in two matches.
Northwood hosts Kentucky Wesleyan Saturday (April 11). Match time is set for 1 p.m.
