INSIDE THE MATCH                                                                                        

• Northwood got off to a great start in the match, taking a 10-2 to open play. Thomas More responded with 11 of the next 13 points to tie the score at 13-13. With the score tied 15-15, the Timberwolves scored six straight points to make the score 21-15. NU eventually took the set 25-18 for a 1-0 overall lead.
• The second set was tight most of the way, as the score was tied 18-18. That is when the Timberwolves went on the key run of the set, putting up five of the next six points to make the score 23-19. Northwood finished off the set 25-21 for a 2-0 advantage in the match.
• The key stretch of the final set started with the score tied 11-11. Northwood scored eight consecutive points to take a 19-11 lead. The Timberwolves stayed in control for the rest of the way, not allowing the Saints to get any closer than six points. NU closed out the match with a 25-17 win to finish the sweep.
