INSIDE THE MATCH                                                                                        

• Findlay set the tone for the match right away, scoring the first five and eight of the first 10 points of the match. Northwood fought back to get within one at 10-9, only to see the Oilers rattle off 12 of the next 15 points. Findlay took the opening set 25-15 for the 1-0 lead.
• The Oilers used a big late push to break open a close second set. Northwood led 11-10 when UF put up four straight points. That Findlay run reached 7-1 to make the score 17-12. After Northwood scored two straight to make it 17-14, Findlay scored eight of the final nine points to make the final 25-15 for a 2-0 UF lead.
• Findlay started strong again in the third, going up 7-2 early on. Northwood responded with seven of the next 10 points to cut the lead to 10-9. NU eventually led 17-16 when the Oilers made the final push of the day, taking the lead for good at 19-18. UF scored six of he final eight points to take the set 25-20 and the match 3-0.
