Volleyball Earns 3-0 Sweep Over Ursuline

INSIDE THE MATCH
- Ursuline played its best volleyball of the match at the start of the night, scoring seven of the first 10 points. Northwood responded with four straight and eight of the next nine points to take an 11-8 lead. The Timberwolves kept their lead the rest of the way, pushing their advantage to as many as seven. Northwood eventually took the opening set 25-19 for a 1-0 lead overall.
- The Timberwolves took the lead for good at 3-2, going on to score seven of the first 10 points of the second set. Ursuline did not go away, getting within two at 12-10. NU responded by scoring 10 of the next 12 points to go up 20-12. Northwood went on to take the set 25-17 for a 2-0 advantage in the match.
- Set three saw Northwood on top 5-3 when the Timberwolves scored eight of the next 11 to go on top 13-6. NU put it away with a 6-1 run to make the score 10-9. The Timberwolves took the set 25-12 and the match 3-0.
