Volleyball Finishes Undefeated Weekend With 3-0 Sweep Over Lake Erie

SCORE: Northwood Timberwolves 3, Lake Erie Storm 0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-16)

INSIDE THE MATCH
- Northwood led the first set from the start, scoring the first two and five of the first six points overall. The Timberwolves pushed their early advantage up to 10-3 and led by at least five the remainder of the set. Northwood's biggest lead came at the end of the set (25-11), which put them on top 1-0 for the match.
- Lake Erie started the second set much better, putting up three of the first four points. The Timberwolves fought back to go on top for good at 7-6. An 8-2 run gave Northwood a 13-7 lead. NU led by at least five the rest of the way, eventually taking the second set 25-15 for a 2-0 advantage for the match.
- The Timberwolves once again led the entire way in the final set, opening the set with the first five points. Lake Erie did chip away at the lead, getting back within one at 11-10. NU responded by scoring nine of the next 11 points to take a 20-12 lead. Northwood closed out the third set and the match with a 25-16 win.
