Northwood Set To Host 2025 G-MAC Cross Country Championships
MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood University is set to host the 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday (October 25) at the Fisher Family Trails on Northwood's campus in Midland.
The event will bring together the top men's and women's programs from across the conference to compete for team and individual titles. The 2025 postseason races will open with the 14th annual women's 6K at 10:30 a.m. ET, by the 14th annual men's 8K run at 11:30 A.M. ET.
The Championship will showcase some of the nation's top programs, including three nationally ranked G-MAC teams on the men's side — Walsh at No. 26, Ashland at No. 27, and Tiffin at No. 30 in the latest USTFCCCA national poll. The women's field will be equally strong, led by No. 5 Cedarville and No. 22 Walsh, both among the premier programs in the Midwest Region. The top-placing men's and women's teams will be named the 2025 G-MAC Champions, respectively. In addition, the top-10 individual men finishers and top-10 individual women finishers will be named First-Team All-Conference, followed by the next 10 finishers as Second-Team All-Conference. The winner of each race will be named the G-MAC Runners of the Year. The top-finishing freshman will garner G-MAC Freshman of the Year honors.
