Men's Tennis Defeats Michigan Tech 7-2

The Northwood University men's tennis team moved to 3-0 on the season with a 7-2 win over Michigan Tech Saturday (March 2).

MTU falls to 9-2 overall, 3-1 in the GLIAC.

Northwood took a 2-1 lead after doubles, thanks to winning at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.

The Timberwolves then went on to take five of the six singles matches.  All but one of Northwood's wins in singles came in straight sets.

Northwood will now travel to Florida for the annual spring break trip.   The Timberwolves open the trip with a neutral site match against Adelphi March 11 in Orlando.
