Men's Tennis Defeats Ferris State 7-2
The Northwood University men's tennis team earned an important 7-2 win over Ferris State Tuesday afternoon (April 9).
The win keeps the Timberwolves alone in first place in the GLIAC. Northwood is now 9-4 overall, 7-0 in the GLIAC. Ferris State stands at 11-4 overall, 8-2 in the GLIAC.
Northwood got off to great start in doubles, winning all three matches to go up 3-0 heading into singles. NU then won of four of the six singles matches to earn the victory.
Jean Menard, Florian Boggia and Konstantin Zhukov each went 2-0 on the day for the Timberwolves.
Northwood will travel to Walsh Friday afternoon (April 12). First serve is set for 3 p.m.
