Men's Tennis Sweeps Malone 9-0
The Northwood University men's tennis team earned a 9-0 road win over Malone Saturday afternoon (April 13).
The Timberwolves remain unbeaten in the GLIAC at 11-4 overall, 9-0 in conference play. Malone falls to 8-16 overall, 1-9 in the GLIAC.
The Timberwolves came out strong in doubles, claiming all three matches while dropping a total of just eight games. NU continued their strong play in singles, taking all six matches in straight sets to complete the sweep.
Northwood can clinch at least a share of the GLIAC Championship with a win Sunday (April 14) against Lake Erie. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
